Lifetouch Gives Back

The Lifetouch Pictures2Protect® Safety Program

Lifetouch, the leading provider of school and family photography, is proud to partner with the Canadian Centre for Child Protection to help provide law enforcement with the most valuable tool when a child goes missing—a current photograph. Each year, Lifetouch distributes Pictures2Protect photo ID cards, free of charge, to families where Lifetouch provides school photography.

If a child is missing, parents can share the Pictures2Protect card with law enforcement. Each card lists the phone number for the Canadian Centre and unique access codes for retrieval of photography. When the Canadian Centre receives a call, it contacts the Lifetouch Rapid Response team. This Lifetouch team is available 24/7 to send a current photograph to law enforcement.

The Value of a

Child Portrait

“When a child goes missing, every second counts. It is important that parents have a current, high-quality photo of their child to provide to police in the event that their child is lost or goes missing. It is one of the most helpful tools in the search for a missing child.”
